Congratulations to Freedom House Sober Living on receiving the Community Investment funds from SilverSummit! These funds will play a vital role in advancing staff training and development, including providing Crisis Prevention & Intervention Certification for 10 Behavioral Health Technicians and training two staff members to facilitate Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). Additionally, the investment will support the creation of new programming, curriculum development, and marketing materials, enabling Freedom House to deliver impactful and innovative services to the community.

This funding will be instrumental in advancing the Resident Physician Wellness Program, which is dedicated to strengthening Nevada’s healthcare workforce. This funding will support the center’s transition to Medicaid Managed Care (MMC) in 2026 and enhance access to care for pregnant and postpartum women with Opioid Use Disorder. Through the expansion of the Maternal Opioid Treatment Health Education Recovery (MOTHER) Program to underserved rural areas, the center will provide critical services such as medication for Opioid Use Disorder, advanced maternal fetal medicine, and behavioral health support, ensuring comprehensive care for vulnerable populations across Nevada.
