Apply for Community Reinvestment Funding
SilverSummit Healthplan uses an open application process to promote transparency and equitable access to funding opportunities. Applications are reviewed using standardized criteria that focus on eligibility, alignment with priority areas, organizational readiness, and the ability to measure outcomes and impact.
Community Reinvestment funding is intended to support infrastructure, capacity building, and program readiness. Funds may not be used to pay for Medicaid covered services.
Funding decisions are guided by identified priority areas that align with Nevada Medicaid requirements, SilverSummit Healthplan contractual obligations, and documented community needs. Applicant organizations must align their proposals with at least one (1) of the focus areas identified below.

Organizations interested in applying should use the Community Reinvestment priority areas as a guide when developing their proposal. Applications should clearly align with one or more priority areas and describe the intended use of funds, expected outcomes, and community impact.
Applicants are asked to provide information that helps SilverSummit Healthplan understand the organization, the community need, and the expected impact of the investment. Application materials include:

Funding decisions are subject to the availability of funds.
Reporting and Accountability
Organizations that receive Community Reinvestment funding are required to submit outcomes reporting. Reporting focuses on how funds were used, progress toward stated goals, and the impact achieved.
Awardees will also be asked to provide testimonials or success stories that demonstrate program impact. Failure to submit required reporting may impact eligibility for future funding opportunities.
