Developmental Health & Autism Services

Every child grows at their own speed. If you're worried your child has delays or has a diagnosis of autism, there is help.

Ages 0-3 Nevada Early Intervention (NEIS):

  • Speech, physical, and occupational therapy
  • Home visits and family training
  • Free development checkups
  • Learn more & contact NEIS


Ages 3-21 School Help:


Common Therapies Include:

  • ABA Therapy - Helps with certain behaviors
  • Speech Therapy - Helps with speech and understanding
  • Occupational Therapy - Helps with movement and sensory needs
  • Developmental Therapy - Helps with learning and life skills


A developmental diagnosis can bring up a lot of questions, SilverSummit has developed a Family FAQs to help answer some of those questions. You can also reach out to our case management team for support and connection to providers.

Foster Youth & Complex Needs

We work with the State of Nevada to support foster youth and children with serious emotional or mental health needs.

For Foster Youth:

  • Care coordination with the Department of Family Services
  • Therapy, counseling, and psychiatry
  • Support for teens leaving foster care

For Children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED):

  • Wraparound support for your whole family
  • In-home and community-based care
  • Extra support and family education if needed
